Did you happen to catch the Peter Jennings-ABC UFO special, Thursday evening? What did you think of it? Except for bringing the subject to light on an unprecedented level (major network, major news anchor, and prime time), I don't see it as a significant prod at mainstream science to come down from its lofty perch and give the UFO phenomena serious examination.

The dismissals from the scientific community were more of the same; tired and worn out pronouncements based on ego and ignorance. Jennings got it right at the end; the only proof that will be accepted is overt contact, with the whole world watching. By then, it may be too late.
